Pair of Repainted Mattel Sizzlers
Here is a pair of Mattel battery powered Sizzlers. They have been repainted in purple and pearl blue. The purple one is missing the rear tire rubber inserts and both batteries have been removed as they were leaking. These are for display only as the copper parts in the chassis are corroded. The purple one has pretty good paint and the blue one has very good paint. Both are real nice colors especially the blue one. There are no chips in the paint and the bodies are complete and in great shape. They would display very well. The purple one is called Angeleno M-70 and the blue one is called Straight Scoop. Price is for both.

Imai Japan Space Science Series Thunderbird Turned Into a Slot Car
This car is from the Imai Space Science Series. I'm not sure but I think it was a TV show in Japan. There are a group of vehicles that was in this series. This is one from it and it is called Thunderbird.
It is one strange looking car with 4 front wheels, a bubble top and it looks like a Rolls Royce grill. It has a machine gun coming out of the grill and has two missles that actually fire by the headlights.
There are two figures in the car. One is a woman who is Penelope and her driver whose name I don't know.
The guy I bought this from turned it into a slot car for his daughters.
It is done so well I had to get it. He painted the car pink. He installed a pick up assembly and wired it to the original motor in the car as it was motorized. He says it isn't fast but it wouldn't fall off the track with his daughters using it.
It comes with the original box and instructions which are all in Japanese.
I can't stress how well this guy made the car. The paint is perfect. The side stripe he painted on is flawless. The glass, chrome and body are exceptional. The tires are real nice. The rockets do fire.
It does run.
It is 1/24th scale and the only one in the world.
It is a condition 10 and would be a very strange addition to any slot car collection.
I'll leave it up for a while and then I am keeping it.

Rare Horsman Slot Cars by Play Art
Pair of Horsman bodies and one chassis. One is a Chevy Caprice police car in white and blue #962. Body paint and chrome is nice with one small wear mark on the left front wheel well. Has the roof lights. The other is a 79 Firebird Trans Am in black and green. The body and paint is real nice. Chassis is a Horsman and it runs and has a working light for the headlights. These are very rare bodies. Cond 8.5.

Rasant from France slot car of a BMW. The body is metal. Great idea for a slot car. You won't need silicones to drive this baby. Dark red in color I believe it makes this car hard to get. Somebody is putting up this car along with some others on EBay. I believe they are from a company that makes them not in the US. I don't know what kind of car it is. It is pretty nice with great detail but I think it is a cheap car from a cheap set. It does run and has a strange pick up system on it. All I know is it ain't HO. More like 1/60th scale. Not for me.

I believe this is the Astro 3 as it looks like the real Astro 2. Futuristic concept car by GM in the 60's. White painted body. The body and paint are real nice. Has the glass. Eldon Camaro and Mustang From the Eldon Collect a Car Raceway
The two cars only came in the Eldon Collect a Car Raceway. It is a slot car racetrack where you can take Die Cast cars like a Hot Wheels and add a guide pin to any car and you can race any die cast car like a slot car. (We have this set for sale on the site) The Camaro is in candy red and the Mustang in a candy lemon lime. The Camaro has both window posts broke and there is paint wear on the body. The Mustang has a big wear mark in the paint on the hood and small wear marks on the body. Both have their original chassis. Cars were made in Spain. Rare cars to add to a collection. Price is for both cars.

Eldon Camaro in white with red stripe. The body and paint are real nice as is the chrome on the bumpers. Rare colors for this body. Both screw posts have been repaired. The car sits at the right height and level side to side. The chassis runs but there are no pick up shoes. There are no pick up springs as the shoes have the spring arm built into it like a Tyco S chassis. The car will display very well. Cond 7.

Star Wars X Wing Fighter By Revell Japan Version
The box says copyright of 1979. I believe this was the first model kit made of the Star Wars X Wing fighter. It is made by Revell under the Takara name from Japan. All the instructions and words on the box are in Japanese. The box isn't perfect but it is very displayable. All four corners are good on the outside and inside boxes. All the parts are still in the factory sealed bags. Never opened. It has the decal sheet. This model has motorized wings the move to open up to make the X Wing. I have seen other kits but have never seen one with the electric motor except for this one. It is a Mabuchi and it is in its original box. This model also has working lights. All the parts are there and still in the factory sealed bags. Not a slot car but it is so cool I had to list it. Pretty rare item. Cond 9+.

I'm not sure if this is a Dyna Brute or a Cobramite lexan body from the 70's. It has the wheel wells like a Cobramite. It is a reddish orange with white stripes. The factory paint job was lightly painted on the lower sides. Mainly the passenger side. The body has no issues. It is not cracked. It also has the 4 bulges on the side to where the chassis pins clip on. A rare blast from the past. Cond 8.

Porsche 917 Remote Control From The Seventies
 
This is a Porsche 917 that is 11 inches long. It is a primitive version of remote control. It does work and will go straight forward and turns when you back up. I believe it is from the 1970's. It is very well detailed and in great shape. It comes in the box which I taped the corners up from the inside so it doesn't show on the outside. The face of the box isn't bad and would display well. It comes with pylons you can set up to make a obstacle course. It is all there but the instructions but you really don't need them. The words are in French so I believe it was made in Canada. It's not a slot car but it is cool and it is a Porsche 917. Great for display and for Porsche collectors.

Two slot cars by Road Champs. Their first and last attempt at them. Made one year only. One is a Chevy Monza in yellow black and red #7 and the other is a Porsche in red and white #4.
