Testarossa #22096.2: The hood logo (black box and #12) is always lower on the 1992 version. It was unlikely a deliberate design change by Marchon and the logo placement was just due to poor quality control. Thunderbird #22051: Black rims in 1992. Gold rims in 1993. Thunderbird #22053: A run of these cars in 1993 had blurry bird logos on the hood and window. It is believed all come from a Canadian "Police Chase" set. Obviously a factory error, but there are enough of these cars around to be noticed. Some collectors may consider this a different version. This was known before the guide was printed. Thunderbird #22103: Silver rims in 1988. Gray rims in 1989. Empire Red Firebird from "Smash 'n Crash Mountain Pass" was released by Marchon first in 1994. The Marchon version has a black Formula 1 chassis with black rims. Formula 1 "Ligier" #G.033: Included as a free car with selected "USA Raceway" sets.
